We are looking for experienced General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Hampshire. Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in good standing
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
- Experience with compensation and pension evaluations preferred
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Ability to perform interview-based exams with minimal physical treatment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience conducting VA exams or working within government healthcare settings
- Familiarity with veteran healthcare protocols and requirements
- Certification in relevant medical specialties or additional training in veteran assessments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Minimum of 2 years clinical practice experience
- Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams or similar assessments highly desirable
- Active medical license; DEA certification preferred
Other Requirements:
- Own a private office within a 50-mile radius of the specified locations
- Willingness to perform exams in Lincoln, NH (1 day/week) and Lebanon, NH (1 day/week)
- Must be available for PRN, ongoing engagements, including half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) shifts
- No treatment or prescribing involved; exams are interview-based with limited physical assessments
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process
- Availability for follow-up administrative work (addendums, reports) within pay structure
- Local candidates only; travel included in rates
- No reimbursement for certifications or portal training outside of rates
