Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in New Hampshire or ability to obtain one quickly
- Certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or related specialties
- Experience with general medicine, disability evaluations, or compensation and pension assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interview-based exams
- Ability to perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Comfortable working independently in a clinical setting
- Attention to detail in documentation and report submission
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with veteran assessments or government contracts
- Background in orthopedic surgery or other related fields
- Familiarity with compensation and pension (C&P) exam protocols
- Certification in DMA or related credentials (though not mandatory)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active state medical license in New Hampshire
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general medicine or related fields
- Prior experience conducting disability assessments or working in government healthcare programs is desirable
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have their own office or workspace within a 50-mile radius of Lebanon or Lincoln, NH
- Willingness to perform exams on a PRN basis, including one-day per week in each location
- Ability to complete exams and documentation within designated time frames
- Participation in initial credentialing and onboarding processes
- Travel included in rate structure; no additional reimbursements for certifications or portal training
- Flexible schedule offering half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts, with rates set accordingly
