We are seeking dedicated and experienced General Medicine Providers to serve our nation's Veterans through compassionate assessments and evaluations. Your role will involve conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments primarily via interview, with some physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. You will perform these on a PRN basis at your own office within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln and Lebanon, NH, requiring only one day per week at each location. No prescribing or treatment is involved, and the process is streamlined for quick credentialing and onboarding.

Required Skills:
  • Medical license and board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related general medicine specialties
  • Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations preferred
  • Excellent interview and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic physical assessments
  • Comfortable working independently in own office environment
  • Knowledge of medical documentation and report submission requirements

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Veteran healthcare evaluations
  • Familiarity with physical assessment techniques (range of motion, muscle testing)
  • Comfort with telehealth technology and portable exam equipment
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Valid state medical license in New Hampshire
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related fields
  • Previous experience with government or VA-related exams is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Own or have access to a private office within the specified location radius
  • Ability to perform exams on a flexible schedule (½ or 8-hour shifts)
  • Willingness to undergo credentialing and complete required training
  • Must adhere to all applicable state and federal law regarding healthcare practice
  • Local candidates only; travel is included in the rates
