Required Skills:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related fields
- Experience with physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Strong interview and communication skills
- Ability to perform non-treatment assessments efficiently and accurately
- Prior experience with Compensation & Pension evaluations is preferred but not mandatory
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Veterans Affairs (VA) evaluation procedures
- Experience in disability or compensation examinations
- Familiarity with medical documentation and report writing
- Comfort with remote assessments and virtual documentation tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in general medicine
- Prior experience in veteran health services or assessment roles is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Provider must have their own office location within approximately 25 miles of the designated Minnesota cities (Detroit Lakes, Bemidji, Rochester)
- Ability to perform examinations on a PRN basis, with flexibility for ½ or full-day shifts
- Willingness to complete all required training and onboarding promptly
- No travel reimbursement outside of rate structure; no certifications or portal training reimbursement
