Facility: Outpatient setting, Urgent Care/Primary Care
FTE: 1.0 (Full-Time)
Shifts: Wednesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1 hour lunch/dinner break)
Provider Type Needed: 1
EMR: Cerner
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Urgent Care and Primary Care services to patients of all ages (excluding babies).
- Conduct urgent care-related procedures as required.
- Manage patient cases from initial consultation through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Work within an outpatient setting with a focus on providing comprehensive care in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Cerner EMR system.
- Collaborate with support staff, including 1 medical assistant and 1 front office staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Urgent Care and/or Primary Care settings.
- Ability to handle urgent care-related procedures.
- Proficiency in Cerner EMR (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages, with the exclusion of babies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical support staff.
Schedule Requirements:
- Wednesday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Must be able to commit to the required shift schedule.
- 1-hour lunch/dinner break.
Patient Load:
- Approximately 15-25 patients per day.
Reason for Coverage:
- Expansion of Urgent Care services, addressing growing patient demand.
Additional Notes:
- Candidates must be available to commit to the full shift schedule (Wednesday-Saturday).
