Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, evaluate, and treat patients in an outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with a supervising physician.
- Provide care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments.
- Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests while ensuring all documentation adheres to compliance standards.
- Prescribe appropriate treatments and manage adverse patient responses in consultation with supervising physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
- Engage in opportunities for teaching Family Medicine residents.
- Maintain adherence to ethical guidelines and local regulations.
- Demonstrate flexibility in schedule coverage to meet patient needs.
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Experience working with patients of all ages, particularly in pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Proficient in using EPIC EMR (highly preferred).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Indiana medical license or willingness to obtain.
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) required prior to employment.
