Join Our Growing Family Medicine Practice in Bourbon, Indiana!
Experience a wonderful opportunity with a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine position in Bourbon, Indiana! This is a chance to be part of a well-established physician network that focuses on patient-centered care in a small-town setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until all patients are seen.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:7 (phone call only).
- Conduct conventional Family Medicine practices including chronic disease management, dressing changes, sutures, biopsies, pap smears, and joint injection/aspiration.
- Perform basic lab services and procedures such as skin tag and mole removals, suturing, and joint injections.
- Treat patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with a daily patient census of 18-22.
- Collaborate closely with one Nurse Practitioner.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with Family Medicine residents.
- Maintain adherence to Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient management.
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates, but not accepting Locums candidates.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (not accepting Internal Medicine applicants).
- Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Active DEA registration (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- COVID Vaccination required.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required.
- Experience working with patients of all ages, particularly pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Indiana medical license.
- Current DEA registration.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- COVID vaccination status.
