Experience a wonderful opportunity with a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine position in Bourbon, Indiana! This is a chance to be part of a well-established physician network that focuses on patient-centered care in a small-town setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until all patients are seen.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:7 (phone call only).
• Conduct conventional Family Medicine practices including chronic disease management, dressing changes, sutures, biopsies, pap smears, and joint injection/aspiration.
• Perform basic lab services and procedures such as skin tag and mole removals, suturing, and joint injections.
• Treat patients from pediatrics to geriatrics with a daily patient census of 18-22.
• Collaborate closely with one Nurse Practitioner.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with Family Medicine residents.
• Maintain adherence to Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient management.
• Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates, but not accepting Locums candidates.

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (not accepting Internal Medicine applicants).
• Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Active DEA registration (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID Vaccination required.
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required.
• Experience working with patients of all ages, particularly pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Indiana medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• COVID vaccination status.
