Job Opportunity: Physician - Family Medicine in Bourbon, IN

Join a nurturing and growing practice in Bourbon, Indiana! This is an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to make a difference in a friendly community setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., accommodating all patients.
• Participate in a 1:7 call schedule (phone calls only).
• Practice conventional Family Medicine, including chronic disease management, minor procedures, and joint injections.
• Serve a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Collaborate with one Nurse Practitioner within the practice.
• Manage an average patient load of 18-22 per day.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents.
• Adhere to Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
• Use Epic EMR for patient records.
• Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates (not accepting locums candidates).

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine.
• Active Indiana medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Active DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working with all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• COVID Vaccination is required.
• Active membership status on the medical staff may be required.
