Permanent Family Medicine Physician in New York
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Family Medicine
Location: New York
Shift: Days (open to 4-day or 5-day work week, 40 hours per week, 34 patient-facing hours)
Start Date: Immediate
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Outpatient practice
- Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to families, including pediatric, adolescent, and adult medicine, refugee health assessments, and preventive care.
- Required Procedures: Routine physicals, illness, injury, chronic care management
- Support Staff: APP collaboration available for additional compensation
- Days Per Month: 40 hours per week, 34 patient-facing hours
- On-Call/Weekends: Call is 1 in every 13 weeks, phone calls only from Monday evening to Monday morning
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certification/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- New York License (or willing to obtain)
- DEA (or willing to obtain)
- Strong desire to work with the refugee population (preferred)
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Open to H-1B visa candidates (cannot accept J-1 waivers)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $240,000 - $265,000 per year
