We are seeking a Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician in New Jersey.
Locum Tenens Family Medicine Physician
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Family Medicine
Location: New Jersey
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Days; 4.5 days per week, 2 Saturdays per month
Start Date: December 30, 2024
End Date: January 25, 2025
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
- Setting: Private Practice
- Responsibilities: Outpatient care, including employment physicals, disability exams, and management of industrial-related medical problems
- Required Procedures:
- General: EKG interpretation
- Surgical: Incision & Drainage (I&D), suturing of minor lacerations
- Occupational Medicine: Employment physicals, diagnosis, and management of industrial-related medical issues
- EMR System: AthenaHealth
- Support Staff: On-site services include Laboratory and Radiology
- Days Per Month: Estimated 20 shifts
- On-Call/Weekends: 2 Saturdays per month
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified - Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
- NJ license in hand
- Local providers only (mileage reimbursement provided)
- BLS certification
- Internal credentialing must be completed with the submitting agency
- Clean background (highly preferred)
- AthenaHealth EMR experience (highly preferred)
- Recent outpatient experience in NJ (highly preferred)
