Core Faculty Opening in Abingdon, VA Richlands 45m; Roanoke 134m * Seeking a Full Spectrum, Family Medicine, Core Faculty physician for Family Medicine Residency Program. * Full-time, Employed * The ideal candidate must be Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope family medicine including a desire to provide patient care in different settings. * Physician must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education. * The following required duties: resident supervision in the clinic and hospital, attendance at meetings, candidate interviews, curriculum development, and research; and direct patient care and clinical activities working with our residents. * The main focus of this position will primarily be the teaching of residents, but will also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and oversight of advanced practice providers. * 116-bed community hospital.
