Locum - Physician - General Medicine IN

Required Skills
- Valid Medical License in Indiana and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine.
- Experience performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Ability to operate independently with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical documentation and report submission protocols.
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience working with Veterans or in a government contract setting.
- Familiarity with medical standards for disability evaluations.
- Certification in specific diagnostic or assessment procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
- Prior exposure to Compensation & Pension evaluations is advantageous but not mandatory.
Other Requirements
- Must reside within 50 miles of assigned locations or own a professional office space for onsite evaluations.
- Ability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts, with flexibility for ongoing assignments.
- Willingness to complete required training and administrative follow-up, including report writing.
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on evaluation and reporting.
