Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Indiana or willing to obtain one
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or relevant general medicine specialties
- Experience in completing medical assessments, interviews, and physical examinations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in documentation and report submission
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams or similar evaluations
- Familiarity with Veteran healthcare processes
- Comfortable with physically assessing range of motion and muscle strength
- Ability to adapt to varied work environments and travel as needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in general medicine or related field
- Prior experience in a remote or mobile assessment setting is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work PRN, on an as-needed basis, with flexible hours including days and half-days
- Must live within 50 miles of designated locations or have own office space at specific sites
- Willingness to perform quick credentialing and onboarding processes
- Valid certifications, with reimbursements considered for licensure and travel where applicable
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities involved
