Locum - Physician - General Medicine IN

Required Skills
  • Valid Medical License in Indiana and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine.
  • Experience performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
  • Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • Ability to operate independently with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of medical documentation and report submission protocols.

Nice to Have Skills
  • Prior experience working with Veterans or in a government contract setting.
  • Familiarity with medical standards for disability evaluations.
  • Certification in specific diagnostic or assessment procedures.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
  • Prior exposure to Compensation & Pension evaluations is advantageous but not mandatory.

Other Requirements
  • Must reside within 50 miles of assigned locations or own a professional office space for onsite evaluations.
  • Ability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts, with flexibility for ongoing assignments.
  • Willingness to complete required training and administrative follow-up, including report writing.
  • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on evaluation and reporting.

Hourly Pay Rate: $624.00
