Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Primary Care Physician to join our virtual care program. In this role, the primary care physician will support a defined number of practices/ providers by providing a collective panel of patients with highly accessible virtual clinical care for acute conditions, chronic conditions, and post-hospital follow-ups. This individual will work remotely, but will develop and foster relationships with primary care colleagues and patients in a given region.

The ideal provider will have a passion for quality patient care and enjoy working in collaboration with other primary care providers to provide the highest quality care.

Piedmont Healthcare has the largest primary care network in Georgia with nearly 200 sites of care and over 450 employed providers. In addition, Piedmont has 22 state of the art medical facilities across the state of Georgia that provide access for advanced imaging, specialized therapies and other specialty care, as well as an innovative and completely integrated virtual health platform.

This Telemedicine opportunity will serve the following communities: Atlanta, Newnan, Fayetteville, Cartersville/Mountainside, Stockbridge/Henry County & Columbus GA.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active license in Georgia or eligible to obtain, but does not need to physically reside in Georgia
  • Commit to a full time Mon – Fri work week, with flexibility in hours (e.g. 7a-4pm, 9a-6pm, etc.)
  • Ability to work remotely, with access to high speed internet
  • Ability to provide primary care services to all ages appropriate to specialty
