A correctional facility is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 1.5 hr from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or alternatively, 4, 10-hour shifts. Our patient population consists of adult males in a minimum-security setting. We utilize the Cerner EMR system and provide extensive training. Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified and hold certifications in BLS, possess a DEA license, hold a Wisconsin medical license, provide three references (two of which must be from supervisors), and have received the COVID Vaccine. The required procedures include treatment for injuries, acute illnesses, follow-up appointments, physical examinations, and corrections. There is an HSM on-site, and additional support staff is available if needed.
