Our partner is a bustling outpatient Family Practice clinic that is seeking to add a new Physician to the mix to offer comprehensive preventative, diagnostic, and chronic illness management services to individuals and families in the Austin, Texas area with an emphasis on individualized patient care.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Practice Physician for a busy outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will already be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas and will have a strong background in family medicine.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, monitor, instruct, and assist NPs and PAs in their work to make sure that the right care is given in accordance with state law and business policy.
• Conduct physical examinations on patients; take their medical histories; and conduct preliminary testing.
• Perform health evaluations and document a patient's whole medical history.
• Document symptoms: after every patient visit, update patient records and verify correctness.
• Arrange and evaluate the outcomes of laboratory tests.
• Make diagnoses, evaluate test results, and decide whether more treatment choices or follow-up sessions are necessary.
• Create a treatment strategy that might involve useful therapies.
• Check up on a patient to see if the suggested therapies are working.
• Provide high-quality service while adhering to all productivity-related organizational metrics.
• Act as the go-to source for patients in need of counseling, information on continuing care, and support for any patients with life-threatening illnesses.
• Educate patients to encourage lifestyle choices that will fend off illness and sustain

This Position offers a Range of Benefits:
Monthly HRT bonus and quarterly productivity bonus up to 10%.
The company provides insurance benefits, covering 50% of a full-time provider medical insurance plan and 50% for their dependents. Providers also incur 50% of medical insurance expenses for all dependents. Supplemental insurance options are available as an add-on option.
The company also contributes 100% monthly for a $30,000 term life insurance policy.
Providers can accrue three weeks of paid time off during their first calendar year, with the remaining time deducted from the final paycheck if employment is resigned or terminated.
Paid holidays are recognized, and in 2024, 6 Federal Holidays will be recognized.
Medical malpractice insurance expenses are also covered.
Providers can earn up to 20 hours of annual CME hours every two years, with travel, lodging, and meals being the sole responsibility of individual providers. Service training workshops and conferences are planned and paid for when locally available.
Provider dress code allowance includes professional medical scrubs with a white coat, with a one-time reimbursement of $200 for personal purchases.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• A DEA license and an active NPI report are necessary.
• A valid, unrestricted state license and certification for MD or DO practice.
• Need to qualify as a provider for federal health programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and others.
• The physician must also fulfill all requirements for liability insurance, including coverage for professional malpractice.

Working Hours

Every weekday, doctors are supposed to visit patients for eight hours, concluding their workday once the last patient has left the clinic. A minimum weekly schedule of forty (40+) hours or more is required of physicians; this requirement does not include a sixty-minute lunch break.

Patient Appointments: During each eight-hour shift, physicians are expected to see a minimum of twenty (20) patients.
