Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring, board certified / board eligible Family Physician to join our amazing team at Novant Health Lakeside Primary Care - Locust. Join our growing team of providers at a location that has been a key part of the community for over 15 years and in the middle of an exciting expansion to keep up with the growth of our clinic. We are open Monday-Friday from 7:00-5:00 and offer the option to work a 4-day work week so you have even more time to enjoy everything North Carolina has to offer.

Locust's small-town atmosphere fosters a strong sense of community, where residents often know each other and enjoy a supportive social network. It is home to several great dining options, affordable cost of living, and a low crime rate environment. The town is located 20 minutes from the outer belt of Charlotte so there is still plenty of opportunity to take advantage of everything the big city has to offer. Locust is near multiple beautiful outdoor spaces such as Morrow Mountain State Park providing opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and picnics with the family.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD or DO license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
