The physician will be responsible for administering care to adult patients in an outpatient only clinic setting. The physician will also supervise mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) involved in the care of adult patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Initiates an appropriate assessment of a person's health status, ranging from focused to comprehensive Identifying immediate needs which can be supported or the need for a referral for long term management.
• Orders pertinent diagnostic tests and procedures to support recommended therapy.
• Interprets health information and establishes diagnoses consistent with the accumulated data and formulates treatment plans, ensuring timely provision of necessary health care services.
• Provides education and ensures understanding of members regarding the nature of the identified acute needs and further opportunities for evaluation and treatment.
• Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job–related hazards.
• Attends annual education programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Medicine physician with an unrestricted Medical License.

Working Hours

M-F 8:00AM to 6:00PM
