Position: Primary Care Provider (Family Medicine/Internal Medicine)

Location: UPSTATE NY

Base salary $285,000 with a $50,000 sign-on bonus

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated Primary Care Providers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be mission-driven, experienced in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and committed to providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services at multiple clinic sites, including both large and rural locations
  • Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Manage chronic illnesses prevalent in the adult population
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Participate in monthly meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Utilize Athena 1 electronic medical records system efficiently (Will be trained if not familiar)

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Family Medicine (FP) or Internal Medicine (IM)
  • Ability to work 4 or 4½ days a week, with flexibility for optional Sick Baby Call hours for increased compensation
  • Willingness to participate in a shared call schedule, including telephonic consultations and paid options for hospital calls related to pediatric care
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
