Family Medicine Need in Alaska
- Work Dates Needed: May 15 - ongoing
- Preferred Schedule: 12 hour shifts 7 days a week plus back up call for 12 hours (before a day shift and after a night shift). Call back is infrequent.
- Worksite Setting: Small critical access hospital
- Scope of Work: We do not offer routine obstetrical care or have a labor and delivery department (although we are an emergency room so do have emergency visits). Most of our physicians are family physicians due to the scope of practice which is typical of rural settings like ours. There is no outpatient clinic associated with the role, it is hospital and emergency department only.
- Requirements: Active AK license, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, DEA
- EMR: Epic
- Pay Rate Preferred: $130/Hour
