Details
  • Setting: rural, critical access hospital in Seward, Alaska
    • Level IV Trauma
    • 8 patients per shift (less than 1 admission per day)
    • Most transfers go to Anchorage
    • Single provider coverage of ER and hospital patients needed
    • 1 physician for each 12 hour day shift and 1 physician for night call 12 hour shift
    • Call back is infrequent (no OB care)
    • 2 RNs and 1 MA
    • No outpatient clinic work - only hospital and emergency department work
Required
  • Board certified or board eligible within 3 years of residency
  • ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Active AK license and DEA
Compensation
  • Paid weekly - pay negotiable
  • 100% of malpractice insurance covered
