We are currently seeking an experienced Physicians for various locations across the state to serve as a full-time (4, 10-hour days available) Site Medical Director.
Locations include:

Eastern Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center - Bonne Terre
Moberly Correctional Center - Moberly
Crossroads Correctional Center - Cameron
Farmington Correctional Center - Farmington
Jefferson City Correctional Center - Jefferson City
Tipton Correctional Center - Tipton

Job Responsibilities

The Site Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet the service delivery requirements of the assigned site(s). The Site Medical Director also provides direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s) under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Site Medical Director will collaborate with Health Services Administrator at the site to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and will participate in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

Qualifications

MD/DO
Board certified in primary care specialty
Active, unrestricted Missouri medical license
Active, unrestricted DEA
Missouri BNDD
Leadership/directorship experience preferred
 Ability to pass credentialing and background check

Working Hours

Monday - Friday
Day Shift
Flexible Schedule (4, 10-hour days or 5, 8-hour days)
No nights, holidays or weekends
Call is optional and paid
