JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in New Mexico is seeking Board Certified physician in one of the following specialties: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Surgeon, OR Pediatrics to serve as our Transitional Year Program Director.
About:
At least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience
Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with ACGME Institutional and Program Requirements
Coordinate all schedules including lecture and educational sessions, clinic and consult services, and a location of appropriate time for resident participation
Be responsible for the leadership, organization, operation, and general administration of the Transitional Year Residency Program
Dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week (or 520 hours per year) to fulfilling all job duties and responsibilities as defined by the ACGME

HOSPITAL:
Facility has over 150 beds, a level III trauma center, and includes fully staffed 24-hour emergency care, including both an accredited Chest Pain Center and accredited Stroke Center. The hospital includes a specialized Heart and Vascular Center, an accredited Joint Replacement Center, a designated labor and delivery unit, NICU, and comprehensive ICU.
The inpatient and outpatient services include a Surgery Center with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery services; rehabilitation services; an accredited Sleep Center, Women’s Imaging Center, FSED, Urgent Care Centers, Primary Care Clinics, and Specialty Care Clinics.
