Job Description

Petoskey Family Medicine is an independently owned practice seeking a position for a MD or DO to work in our busy family practice. Being privately owned gives us the opportunity to refer our patients to offices and hospital systems that are the best fit for our patients. We currently have 2 part time providers working 2-3 days per week and 2 physician assistants working 3 days per week.

There is a guaranteed base salary with eligibility of a simple IRA with 3% match after 1 year of employment. A bonus is based on productivity with a 6 month review. Assistance with student debt will be made available for those in need as well. Continuing education fees, malpractice insurance, and certification fees are covered by the practice. Based on performance, this individual would have the opportunity for practice partnership within 2 years.

We are committed to offering our patients a high quality of care and participate in Patient Centered Medical Home through BCBS and want our patients just as involved in their care as we are. Our 2 RN's help us achieve that by offering their assistance with Medicare annual wellnesses and care management. This allows more time for the physicians to spend with their patients. Within our ACO, we have been recognized as a top performing practice for quality of care for the last 8 years and for the last 4 years through Priority Health we have received the Quality Award for exceptional patient care.

We are located in beautiful Northern Michigan providing an excellent living environment. There are many opportunities for hiking, boating, cycling, skiing, as well as arts, music and a great school system. We believe in the work life balance and family is a priority.
