Family Practice Physician - $315K - 4-day schedule – Loan Repayment

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) in Southeast Alaska with a brand new hospital. You will have the ability to practice full spectrum primary care and treat an underserved patient population in a new modern hospital.

Summary and highlights:

• Primary duties will include routine and general Primary care, “cradle to grave”
• Urgent/emergent care and Hospitalist experience required
• Minimum 2 years Family Medicine experience
• 4-day work week: 3 days clinic/1 day hospital
• Call: 7 – 8 days average per month
• Easy work load averaging just 16 patients per day
• Very strong sign-on and relocation bonus
• $100K Retention bonus
• 50k Loan Repayment (NHSC or IHS)

About the Facility:

In February 2020 Wrangell opened it’s beautiful, modern and spacious 45,000 square foot Medical Center. The new hospital houses a pharmacy, radiology, 24-hour lab, Physical Therapy and primary care offices.
