Adelphi is seeking a physician to provide care to patients at a correctional facility in Nottoway County, Virginia. The physician will provide general medical services including examinations and treatment to the inmate population.

Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, treat, counsel and prescribe medications for patients as needed.
- Provide physical examinations and other general services.
- Record a summary in each patient's medical chart after each consultation.
- Make referrals to medical or clinical specialists when necessary.
- Responsible for providing accurate prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Responsible for the improvement in patient health and quality of life.
- Independently resolves daily medical issues.
- Ensure guidance is received on policy or exceptional situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
