100% Hematopathology role, no general surgical required, but can do if interested
Department of 4 full time pathologists that provide PT coverage at Hospital, Blood Banker, Director of Laboratory, Anatomic Pathology Manager, Multiple PAs that handle grossing
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm schedule, 1 day per week 8 am start
Department annual volume: 170 peripheral bloods, 200 bone marrows, 84 lymph nodes
Flow cytometry sent out to reference lab (integrated oncology - part of LabCorp) and flow interpretation done onsite
Tumor boards meet twice a month with active group of oncologists
Opportunity for teaching and research - partnership with medical school which has medical students and a 24-person residency class
