Primary Care Physician - Levittown, Jefferson Health Northeast

Jefferson Health Northeast has an opportunity for a full-time Primary Care Physician to join Sweetbriar Family Medicine in Levittown. This is part of the Jefferson system and provides an extremely competitive salary along with productivity and quality incentives. Enjoy support from a robust population health team including Care Coordinators and Social Services, as well as Scheduling Advocates who assist in helping your patients obtain specialty appointments and facilitate necessary diagnostic testing. Integrated Behavioral Health and Ambulatory Pharmacy is just a click away utilizing our advanced Epic EMR.

At Jefferson Northeast physician wellness is a priority. Our Sweetbriar practice provides strong administrative and clinical support for our physicians as each works as part of a team with a dedicated medical assistant. For patient scheduling, we offer 32 scheduled patient contact hours plus eight administrative hours. Our physicians have found our added non-clinical administrative time to be very helpful to them for work life balance.

For clinical hours, our physicians see two to three patients per hour, depending upon the patient and physician needs. At Sweetbriar the patient population is mostly young and middle age adults, as well as our age gifted seniors. This presents a strong opportunity to establish a continuity panel of patients for their health care needs. There are also opportunities for office based procedures depending upon your procedural interests and training. We look for physicians who practice up to date evidenced medicine who are able to establish a warm and professional rapport with patients and their families. • Candidates should have or be in the process of obtaining an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Candidates will have completed an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency program in FM. We would also welcome FM candidates who have completed Fellowships in addition to their residency training.
