An Academic Health System in Texas are recruiting for board certified MD or DO applicants for full time Faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in a department that enjoys strong institutional support. These departmental faculty positions are designed to address the needs of the expanding medical education programs.

The School of Medicine has an innovative curriculum for medical students. Both residents and faculty see patients in a modern Family Medicine Center with a state of the art electronic medical record system. There is also a strong ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. The department also enjoys a successful clinical research division with the focus on cancer prevention and population health.

The department has an active inpatient service and also admits patients to the local Children’s Hospital. Duties will include direct patient care, primarily at the main clinic site, numerous opportunities to supervise and teach family medicine residents in the outpatient and inpatient settings, and teach medical students across all four years of the medical school curriculum. Scholarly activity is also expected of all faculty.
