Coverage Needs Details:
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient
- Regularly Scheduled Shifts (No Call)
- Ongoing need
Candidate Requirements
- Must have an active OR medical license
- Minimum Board Status: Board Eligible
- Certification: BLS
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (8 hours a day) (No weekends, No Call, No Hollidays)
- Caseload: 80% Adult, 20% Pediatric
- Avg patients per day: 8-10 (Total), 3-4 (Outpatient), 5-6 (Inpatient)
- Locum will not be required to supervise other healthcare providers
- Support Specialties Available: Emergency Department Physicians, Hospitalists, Orthopedic Surgeons, General Surgeons, Other ED on-call surgical specialists
- Locum will be hospital based and will utilize equipments and supplies readily available on site
- Locum will consult with the patients to prep them for surgeons/providers
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $140/hr.
