Job Description
Position Duties:
They are scheduling 40-45 minute appointments, so approximately 11-12 patients per day.
*Obtain pertinent health history and perform appropriate physical examinations
*Formulate a diagnosis and plan related to the patient’s condition
*Perform procedures, at the clinic, inpatient and outpatient
*Prescribe and refill medication, including controlled substances
*Function as part of the Medical Group and clinicians, covering for providers who are out, working with case management, collaborating with specialists and allied health professionals to maximize health outcomes
*Appropriately refer patients requiring specialty care and services
*Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings
Requirements:
Graduate from accredited medical school
Board Certified (current)/Eligible in own specialty
Active California medical license
Current Federal DEA
Additional credentials as required by virtue of specialty
Experience working a multi-specialty group highly recommended, but not required
