JOB DESCRIPTION:
Clinic in the metro area of Greensboro, North Carolina is currently searching for a full-time Family Medicine physician at one of our locations. This position does not provide obstetrics and is outpatient only, as there is a designated hospitalist team.
“Call” is 1-2 days per month and weekend phone-call 1 weekend every 9 weeks. We offer a competitive financial guarantee and a comprehensive fringe benefit package during the first year with the group with partnership is available after 1 year.
HOSPITAL:
The group is a physician-owned, physician-led multi-specialty medical group of more than 55 physicians serving the Greater Greensboro area. As a respected health care leader, we value the trust all of our patients have placed in us to manage their and their families’ care. It is a privilege to serve our community.
Patients of the group who require hospitalization are admitted and followed by Hospitalists. Communications among the family physicians and the hospitalists are excellent. At the 3 hospitals, there is a comprehensive range of secondary and tertiary level diagnostic and treatment services and 800+ beds. The family medicine residency program is affiliated with UNC Medical Center.
COMMUNITY:
The community is a city of 300,000 people, with a regional population of approximately 1.6 million. It is located in the central “Piedmont” area of North Carolina, within easy driving distance of both the mountains and the beach via Interstate 40 and several other major highways. There is a four-season climate - winter is very short and moderate!
The Piedmont Triad International airport in Greensboro has 6 different airlines and 65+ flights daily, direct to major cities in the East, South and Midwest.
