Salem Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our collaborative, team-based practice. In this role, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan. You will provide comprehensive care to an established patient panel, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. Working closely with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, medical assistants, and clinic leadership, you will help shape care delivery models that prioritize access, continuity, and quality outcomes. Skyline Primary Care Clinic

Enjoy the thriving work environment and community involvement at Skyline Clinic, a well establish clinic located in the heart of Salem, Oregon. We are actively seeking both Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This full-time position requires 32 hours of patient-facing time and offers a flexible 4-day work week or a traditional 8-5 schedule. With opportunities for virtual care integration, manageable daily call rotations, quarterly offsite meetings, and social events, you'll join a team that emphasizes work-life balance.

What you’ll do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, acute care, and chronic disease management, for an assigned patient panel.
  • Collaborate as an active member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Assess and address the physical and psychosocial needs of patients and their families using advanced clinical judgment.
  • Manage patient care needs across the care team when circumstances require, ensuring continuity and coverage.
  • Refer patients to specialty services as appropriate based on clinical need.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of clinical protocols in collaboration with other Primary Care providers.
  • Engage in clinic process improvement initiatives in partnership with clinic management and staff.
  • Positively engage as a physician team member to support education of medical students, as needed.
  • Partner with the Medical Director to determine clinic hours of operation that support patient access while promoting provider work-life balance.
  • Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities to enhance clinic efficiency, effectiveness, and patient experience.
  • Foster a professional, respectful, and collaborative work environment that supports team engagement and high performance.

Required qualifications

  • Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Demonstrate experience and current competence in patient care in the last 24 months.
  • Current Medical License in good standing issued by the Oregon Medical Board.
  • Hold DEA certification.

Additional information

  • 1–3 years of experience delivering patient care in an active clinical practice preferred (new graduates considered based on training and fit).
