Job Description
A Klamath Falls based client is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to provide excellent care to patients of all ages. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations, including the underserved and underinsured. The role involves the full scope of family practice in a community health center in order to meet the diverse health and social needs of patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
- Current OR state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- Board certified or eligible in primary care
- Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience preferably with underserved communities in a community health center setting
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including preventive care, primary diagnosis and treatment and inpatient medical care if appropriate
- Serve as a preceptor to providers in training as needed
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality
- Maintains timely documentation in medical records in accordance with established clinic protocols
- Participates in quality improvement activities
- Provides call coverage and inpatient care as required by contractual obligations
- Complies with OSHA regulations as well as all clinic safety standards
