Job Description

A Fresno, California based client is seeking an excellent Family Practice Physician to provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages in a Federally Qualified Health Center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
• Current CA state medical license
• Completed an accredited residency program
• Current DEA certificate
• Board certified in primary care
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provides primary-care services like exams, diagnosis and treatment, to individuals and families in the community
• Prepares appropriate treatment plans and provide follow-up as needed while adhering to clinic policy and procedures, (Duties include outpatient responsibilities)
• Maintains appropriate medical records documentation in the EMR on all patients in accordance with organizational policy, (Consistently up to date on charting)
• Refers patients for specialty care as appropriate
• Provides appropriate information and education to patient and family members regarding diagnoses, treatment, prevention, safety, etc
