Job Description

An Elma, Washington based client is seeking an excellent Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families. Typical schedule is four 10-hour days per week, minimum call, no hospital coverage, and there is an OB option but it is not required. Family Medicine residents finishing residency are welcome to apply as there is a teaching and training option.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current WA state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Board certified or eligible in primary care
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of practice post residency
  • 3 years of leadership experience at some level

Responsibilities

  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion
  • Diagnose and treat patients of all ages and variable health conditions
  • Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results
  • Competent care with all ages, mostly adults
  • Supervises and directs family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other mid-level providers
