Job Description

An Alpine, California based client is seeking an excellent Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician (or specialties like OBGYN, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics) to provide outpatient primary care services in a community health center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families. New graduates are welcome to apply!

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current CA state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or eligible in either Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Spanish
  • ACLS certification
  • 1 year of experience
  • Employment in community health center
  • Experience with elderly population

Responsibilities

  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion
  • Diagnose and treat patients of all ages and variable health conditions
  • Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results
  • Competent care with all ages, mostly adults
