Job Description

An Ellensburg based client is seeking an experienced Physician to provide excellent primary care services to patients of all ages, but especially the geriatric population. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment, is comfortable supervising nursing staff, and practices evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
• Current Washington state medical license
• Completed an accredited residency program
• Current DEA certificate
• Board certified in internal or family medicine
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience working with medically underserved populations

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in adults and older adults
• Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
• Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
• Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
• Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
• Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff
