Job Description

A Spanish Fork, Utah based client is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to provide excellent primary care services to patients of all ages, but especially the pediatric population. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment, is comfortable supervising nursing staff, and practices evidence-based, patient-centered care. This position is eligible for a first year salary plus production incentives and a partnership.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current Utah state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified in primary care
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in all ages
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
  • Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff
