Job Description

A Porterville, California based client is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician to provide excellent primary care services to patients of all ages. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment, values evidence-based practice, and practices patient centered care. This candidate must be comfortable evaluating and treating all ages. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
• Current California medical license
• Completed an accredited residency program
• Current DEA certificate
• Board certified in primary care
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
• Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
• Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
• Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
• Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
