Job Description

A Klamath Falls, Oregon based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate family medicine physician to join an interdisciplinary medical clinic. An ideal candidate has three or more years of experience as a physician, practices with evidence-based care, and is willing to cover occasional evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications

• OR medical license as an MD or DO
• Board certification or board eligible in family medicine
• Completion of an approved residency program
• OR DEA certification
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
• Develop rapport with patients and work collaboratively with other providers
• Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
• Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
• Provides call coverage and inpatient care as needed
