Job Description

A Perry Florida based client is seeking an experienced, collaborative Family Practice physician to join its primary care team. A great candidate would have three years or more of practice experience as a licensed physician and leadership experience. This role involves providing primary care services to a community in an outpatient setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Attended an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • DEA certificate
  • Board eligible or board certified in Family Practice
  • CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as a licensed physician

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, manage wounds and injuries, and educate patients on their treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
