Med-Exec Solutions has been engaged to identify top-notch Family Practice Physicians for a new opportunity in an affordable California location. Our client, a growing provider organization with over three decades of success, is seeking a full-time physician to join their practice in the Bakersfield area.
Known for its semiarid, Mediterranean climate, Bakersfield was voted one of the top places to live in 2019 by U.S News & World Report. Ranked 124th out of 125 cities, Bakersfield is more affordable than other parts of California. The area was also voted one of the top 100 places to retire. Homes can be 3 times less than property in Los Angeles.
Outdoor enthusiasts will be within reach of hiking, skiing, and mountain biking in the Eastern Sierras, Mammoth, Sequoia National Park, Angeles National Forest, Kings Canyon, and Death Valley National Park. Bakersfield also has proximity to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Pismo Beach. Kayaking and river rafting are readily accessible on the Kern River.
Home to Cal State University-Bakersfield, the community offers various activities including concerts, museums. and sporting events.

Position Details:
- Established and growing outpatient clinic and Independent Physicians Association (IPA)
- Offers a strong clinical support team and patient-centered administrative staff
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m. schedule
- Averages 15-20 patients per day
- Provides primary care, physical examinations, diagnostic services, treatment, follow-up care, and referrals to specialists
- Emphasis on preventive care which ensures high-quality outcomes for a diverse patient population of all ages
- NextGen EMR
Compensation:
- Base pay of 250K to 300K depending on experience
- Sign-on/Relocation bonus
- Performance/Production bonus

Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Requires a valid, unrestricted California medical license
- DEA license
- BLS Certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
