**Primary Care Opportunity in Winterville, NC** Located 10 miles from Greenville, NC **Position Information:** - Full-time, permanent - Outpatient only - Practice open from 7:30am to 5pm with lab and diagnostic center open until 6pm. Some physicians start at 7:40 and some later. Schedule template will be light in the beginning and gradually ramp up to 20 patients per day on a 15-to-20-minute template. Most exceed 20 patients per day. Support staff available to allow this volume. - 4.5 days per week. - Supervision of APPs is optional, but APPs will be available to see candidates patients when necessary. - Full schedule of patients guaranteed. PE has a great reputation and new patients are abundant. - Support from an off-site PE Urgent Care Center when needed. - Patients admitted to hospital by hospitalists. - Age Range: 18 and up. - Payer Mix: BCBS and Medicare as well as other private insurers. - EMR: Centricity/Athena Flow. **Salary Range:** - Non shareholder starting salary range: $200k to $260k based on experience and long-term goals. Most of the shareholder PCPs are over the MGMA 90 Th percentile in total compensation. - Two-to-four-year partnership track. No buy in. Stock purchase of $15k which is returned when candidate resigns/retires. **Compensation Plan:** - All non-shareholders sign the same four-year contract. Non shareholders are paid a salary. In addition to this salary, once a profit is shown by the individual physician, they will be paid a 50% productivity-based bonus. If goals are met and the physician qualifies for a bonus, the non-shareholder salary is increased. - If the physician is on the shareholder track and has been employed for at least two full calendar years and meets the goals to bonus as a non-shareholder, the non-shareholder will be offered partnership, after the purchase of a refundable $15k share of the employer's stock. The shareholder physician will then receive 100% of their year-end profit. - Once becoming a shareholder, in addition to receiving 100% of year end profit, the shareholder will have the option of participating in the ownership of the practices real estate. This is a very lucrative investment for the future that costs $0 to join. The shareholder will enjoy the benefit of the equity growth in the LLCs that own the real estate with a buy out upon retirement. This is a huge addition to private practice physicians retirement portfolio. **Benefits:** - Medical Insurance-No premium expense to physician for single or family coverage. $20 copay for all services within medical group. $0 copay for lab and diagnostic services. - Prescription Plan-Tiered prescription coverage with low copays and onsite pharmacy with reduced copays for employees. - Dental-No premium expense to physician or family of physician. - Long Term Disability-Paid by the practice for physician. - Life-Paid by the practice for physician, spouse, and dependents. - Cafeteria Plan - Profit Sharing Plan - 401k with match of 50% of first 3% and 100% of 4-6%. - Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) services paid by employer for employee and dependents **Candidate Parameters:** - MD/DO - Board Certified/Board Eligible - The ideal candidate would enjoy patient care, be dedicated to the practice of medicine and their patients, practice quality medicine efficiently with the intention of retiring from the medical group at the end of their career. **Hospital Privileges:** - Primary care doctors maintain refer and follow privileges at ECU Health (the only hospital in Greenville, NC). - They do not take call or participate in the care of their patients in the hospital. In some situations, they may choose to make a courtesy visit to a patient. - The medical group started the hospitalist program in Greenville NC to allow its PCPs to remain in the office and take care of their scheduled patients. After a few years other PCPs in the area wanted to use the program also. The medical group worked with the hospital to allow them to take over this program and the hospitalist physicians became employees of the hospital.
