Family Medicine Physician – Outpatient Locum Tenens
Start Date: As Soon As Credentialed - 3-12 Months
ANY STATE LICENSE:
Position Overview:
The selected physician must be comfortable providing full-spectrum outpatient family medicine, including routine prenatal visits. This position does not include obstetric deliveries.
Schedule Options:

Monday - Friday - 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Monday - Friday - Four 10-hour shifts 8:00am-6:00pm per week
Patient Census:
-
Approximately 12 patients per 8-hour day

Approximately 14–16 patients per 10-hour day
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings
Provide well-child, adult, and geriatric care
Conduct routine prenatal visits; no labor, delivery, or other OB coverage required
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state
Active DEA registration
Current BLS certification
Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan
Comfortable providing routine prenatal care
Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
Working Hours
Monday - Friday - Four 10-hour shifts per week
