I wanted to share a fantastic OB/GYN locum opportunity that may be a great fit for your experience—especially if you’re comfortable performing C-sections.
🔹 Assignment Overview
- Dates: August through December (coverage for physician leave)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM clinic
- Call:
- Some weekday call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- A few 24-hour weekend shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
🔹 Practice Details
- Patient Mix: ~60% GYN / 40% OB
- Daily Volume: 12–15 patients
- Services Include: Annual exams, PAPs, prenatal care, pre-surgical exams, STI treatment, contraception management, routine OB visits
- Facility: 25-bed hospital with strong support
- Team: Midwife, APPs, and additional OB/GYN coverage
- EMR: Epic
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN OR Family Practice with OB experience
- Must perform C-sections
- Active certifications (e.g., BLS; others as applicable)
