Family Medicine Physician with Surgical OB | Virginia, MN Virginia, MN — 60 miles from Duluth, 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul ## Position Details * Part-time to full-time (0.6–1.0 FTE) * Setting: Regional medical complex — clinic and inpatient * Call: Required * EMR: EPIC * Hospital: 30-bed adjacent facility, Level I Nursery, Level IV Trauma Center, and Stroke Ready certified ## Practice Overview Seeking a motivated, team-oriented Family Medicine Physician with OB to help build a combined Family Medicine and OB/GYN team serving a regional community: * Approximately 250 births annually at a Baby Friendly designated hospital * Remote fetal monitoring available * Family Medicine with surgical OB — OB physicians provide backup for C-sections * C-section competency required — OB Fellowship offered on site * On-site Chronic Disease Management nursing support and 24/7 Nurse Online Triage * Multi-specialty clinic including 9 Family Medicine physicians, 4 advanced practitioners, and Integrated Behavioral Health * Additional specialties on site: Anesthesiology, Dermatology, OB/GYN, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and visiting specialties * Full clinic services including laboratory, radiology, retail pharmacy, optical shop, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, Cancer Center, Regional Heart Center with CHF clinic, and warfarin clinic ## Compensation & Benefits * Base compensation: $323,400 * Market-leading pay and relocation assistance * Substantial benefits package * Minimum of 6 weeks off per year * Eligible for additional compensation including bonuses, quality incentives, and production-based compensation ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine * OB required — C-section competency required * OB Fellowship available for qualifying candidates ## About the Community – Virginia, Minnesota * Vibrant Iron Range community with a population of approximately 9,000 serving a regional area of 30,000 * Approximately 60 miles from Duluth and 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul * Known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and strong community ties * Access to lakes, trails, forests, and all four seasons of Minnesota outdoor life
