Family Medicine Physician with OB – Oregon | 6–12 Month Locums Opportunity

A healthcare facility in Oregon is seeking a Family Practice Physician with Women’s Health experience for a 6–12 month locums assignment. Physicians with OB and/or Surgical OB experience are highly preferred.

This opportunity offers a well-supported clinic environment, manageable patient volume, and the ability to practice full-scope family medicine with OB.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 10-hour days (Monday–Friday flexibility)
• Patient Volume: 16–18 patients per day
• Patient Population: All ages
• EMR: Cerner CommunityWorks
• Team: MDs, DOs, and Nurse Practitioners on-site
• Assignment Length: 6–12 months with extension potential

Clinical Responsibilities

Physicians will provide full-scope family medicine with women’s health and OB care, including:

• Prenatal care and women’s health services
• OB call rotation 1:3
• Deliveries and potential surgical OB (preferred)
• Procedures such as:

• Pap smears

• IUD and Nexplanon placement

• Colposcopy

• Skin excisions/biopsies

• Casting and splinting

• Toenail removals

(Some procedures are flexible depending on physician experience.)

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician
• Women’s Health experience required
• OB experience preferred
• Active Oregon license and DEA preferred
• ACLS and NRP required

For OB privileges:
• Minimum 10 deliveries within the past 24 months
• For C-section privileges: 30 cesarean deliveries

Credentialing

• 3–6 month credentialing timeline
• 3 references required
