Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Locum to Perm – Los Angeles, CA
Hourly Pay Rate: $140–$150/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established outpatient primary care organization in the Los Angeles, CA area. This organization is growing and will be opening a new location soon as well. This is a full-time locum-to-perm opportunity providing continuity of care to a diverse patient population in a community-focused clinic setting.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 3–12 months (Locum to Perm)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Lunch: 1 hour unpaid
- No call, no weekends, no holidays, no OB
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Patient Information
- Patient Volume: 20–22 per day
- Demographics: All ages
- Visit Type: Scheduled appointments only
- Scope: Full-scope outpatient family medicine
- Procedures: None required
Provider Requirements
- Specialty: Family Medicine, MD/DO
- License: Active California medical license (required)
- Board Certification: ABFM (BE accepted if in residency)
- Experience: New graduates welcome
- Certifications Required:
- California DEA
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Preferred: Enrollment with Medicare and Medi-Cal (to expedite credentialing)
Onboarding Requirements
- Standard credentialing required
- EMR experience preferred; training available
EMR Information
- Currently using Amazing Charts
- Transitioning to NextGen in May
- Training provided as needed
