CLINICAL FACULTY: Family Medicine w/Surgical OB


Banner Health and the Faculty team at North Colorado Family Medicine (NCFM) are pleased to announce an opening for a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician w/Surgical OB to join their fully accredited program in Greeley, Colorado.


Training Resident physicians since 1973, you’ll join a team of 18 faculty members in a Family Medicine training program that is nationally recognized as one of the finest in the nation. NCFM is a community-based, unopposed residency program providing resident physicians with unparalleled, full-spectrum training opportunities. NCFM’s graduates are able to take advantage of this training which prepares them for practice in any setting, particularly under-resourced areas. About 60% of NCFM graduates settle in rural areas while others practice in a wide variety of settings. NCFM is housed in a 25,000 sq. ft. complex, perfect for outstanding patient care and located just three blocks from North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC), a 350+ physician teaching hospital.


Position Details:


  • Deliver exceptional patient care to a diverse community
  • Serve as a mentor to medical students and residents
  • Engage in scholarly activities
  • Average of 1-2 half-days dedicated to continuity clinic, 2 half-days for administrative tasks, including curriculum development, one-on-one time w/residents and 2-4 half-days of precepting each week. This schedule may vary when on duty for inpatient (Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB) services.
  • Call schedule is approximately once per week

Key Qualifications:


  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Surgical OB required
  • Teaching experience preferred; however, we are focused on the right fit including new graduates
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment

Banner Health offers a generous salary and recruitment incentives, along with an industry leading benefits package that provides security for you and your family:


  • $210,000 - $240,000 annual base salary plus incentives
  • $18,000 resident stipend
  • $60,000 starting bonus
  • Eligible to apply for $45,000 faculty loan repayment through the Colorado Commission for Family Medicine
  • Paid CME and malpractice insurance
  • 28 days ATO/year and 5 days CME/year
