Position Overview

Join a mission-driven Family Medicine with OB team at a thriving outpatient clinic and regional hospital in Clinton, Iowa. We're seeking an OB Fellowship-trained Family Medicine physician who is confident in performing C-sections and passionate about full-spectrum, team-based care.

Practice Details

OB Fellowship required (completed before start)
Must be BC/BE in Family Medicine (BC within 1 year if BE)
Confident performing C-sections
Clinic: 3 exam rooms, 1 procedure room, state-of-the-art ultrasound
EMR: Cerner (hospital), eClinicalWorks (clinic)
Call Schedule: 1:4
Hospital: 7-bed LDRP | Level I Nursery | 1–2 daily admissions
‍ Team Includes:

• 1 Board-Certified Gynecologist

• 2 OB NPs

• 1 FM/OB physician

• 12 FM providers

• 2 APPs
  Patient Mix: 50–60% low-risk, 30–40% high-risk pregnancies
  C-section Rate: 5–10%

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (discussed at interview)
Sign-On Bonus: $100,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000
PTO: 272 hours/year (~34 days)
CME: $4,000 annually

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine – Required

• OB Fellowship Completed – Required

• Able to perform C-sections independently – Required

• Iowa license or eligibility – Required

• Clean malpractice preferred
