Job description
Specialty: Family Medicine. OB experience a huge plus (NOT REQUIRED). Traditional Practice- both inpatient and clinic. No APP supervision
Reason for coverage: Interim coverage while recruiting for perm provider.
Credentialing Timeframe: 2 months minimum.
Start Date: September
Contract Length: 3 months, strong possibility to extend to 6.
Reason for coverage: IM provider getting deployed & FP going on maternity leave.
Amount of coverage needed per month: full time
EMR Clinic/Inpatient: Meditech Expanse
Trauma: LIV
NICU: LII (sick babies are transferred out)
Work Details:
· What types of patients does the practice see: Adult populations, some peds, a little nursery. Sick babies are transferred out. OB/Hospital care split 50/50
Clinic: (attached to main hospital)
· Shift details (hours and schedule): 9a-430p (1 hour lunch). Monday-Friday
· Patient Volume: 15-16 per day
Inpatient:
· Rounding/Admits/Newborn Care/Deliveries: yes
· Average daily census: 3-7
· NICU level:LII
· Circumcisions required? yes
· Call Required: 1:3. Weekends 24 hours (7p Friday-7a Monday).
? 50% calls, 50% patient contact
Requirements:
· Fellowship: OB preferred, not required
· License required: IA , open to IMLC
· DEA: yes
· Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
· Minimum experience required: 3 years ideal candidate, will consider new grads
