Location: Berlin, Vermont
Position Summary:
Palm Health Resources is seeking a full-time locum tenens physician to join a Medical Center Vermont. Ideal candidates will hold an active Vermont medical license or willing to license within 6- 12 weeks.
Department: Family Medicine
Specialty: Adult Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Adult-only practice)
Board Certification Required: Board Certified (BC)
Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Assignment Details:
- Coverage Dates: August 1, 2025 – December 2025
- Work Setting: Outpatient clinic with shared telephone call rotation
- Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Eight 4-hour clinical sessions per week
- One non-patient facing administrative day
- Patient Volume: 18–20 patients per day
- Procedures Required/Preferred: None
- Fellowship Required: No
Support and Environment:
- Collaborative, group practice with physician and APP colleagues
- APPs practice independently and do not require supervision
- Well-supported clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, and MAs
- EMR: Epic (used across both clinic and hospital
Cultural Expectations:
The physician is expected to demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity and compassion in delivering care to a diverse patient population.
