Job description
We are hiring a Physician – Family Medicine - Obstetrics for a perm position in Clinton County, IA!
Job details:
- Start: As soon as credentialed
- Shifts: Days + On-call
- Must be able to perform C-sections
- Excellent work life balance supporting quality family time.
- Call Schedule: 1:4 - predictable and non-burdensome call schedule.
- Offering supporting medical staff representing urology, podiatry, surgery, cardiology, radiation oncology and hospitalists. All services located in the hospital for convenient access and coordinated care.
- State-of-the-art ultrasound equipment on site
- Staff includes 1-2 clinical staff members and a receptionist
- 1 Board Certified Gynecologist on staff in the building, 2 OB nurse practitioners, and 1 FP/OB Physician also on site.
- Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: varies with provider
- Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 50-60%
- Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 30-40%
- Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 5-10%
- Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1-2
- Nursery Level (I, II, III): 1
- What Percentage of Practice is GYN: low
- EMR: Cerner in hospital, eclinical works in clinic
Job Requirements:
- Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- IA license (or willing to obtain)
- OB Fellowship-trained (to be completed prior to start)
- Provider is able and interested in doing C-sections
- Clean Malpractice
